Limbonic Art: New Album
Norwegian Wagnerian Black Metallers Limbonic Art will be returning to form this summer with a brand new opus of symphonic and epic proportions. Entitled Phantasmagoria, it will be the band's first release with founding member Daemon as the one and only song-writer and craftsman behind the entity. A release date has already been set for July 19 via Nocturnal Art Productions and Candlelight Records.

Mnemosyne Productions: New Studio
Norwegian Avant-Garde label Mnemosyne Productions (of Ihriel and Ihsahn's fame) has now broadened its horizons in order to start working with other artists (other than the label's own), so they have renamed their former studio, Symphonique, to Ivory Shoulder, to mark the occasion. You can access the studio's homepage at www.ivoryshoulder.no. According to an official statement, both have 20 years of background in Extreme Metal and an extensive experience from recording and producing dark music, and they offer recording, mixing and production facilities.

[BeforeTheRain]: New Vocalist
Portuguese Doom Metallers [BeforeTheRain] have just announced their new singer, ex-Morgion's vocalist Gary Griffith, which has replaced the band's original member, Carlos D'Água. The band's new album, Frail, is currently being mixed at England's Chapel Studios by guitarist Valter Cunha and Ewan Davies.

Ataraxia: New Album and Tours
Italy's Ataraxia have just announced that, with the arrival of spring, their new album Llyr has just been made available by France's Prikosnovénie. The record is widely available on digipack format, but for Mexican listeners, there will be an exclusive edition released by Samadhi Musik a bit later on, featuring a limited digipack-edition of 900 copies on A4 format, with a glossy UV-booklet protection and another, opaque, for the digipack-case.
Ataraxia will also be touring this spring and summer throughout China, Europe, Mexico with exclusive performances.

Swedish Neoclassical masters Arcana are about to release a special 4-CD Box Set edition containing their first four records with bonus tracks taken from various compilations and mini-albums. The first trilogy has also been carefully remastered by both Peter Bjärgö (Dark Age of Reason) and Frederic Arbour (Cantar de Procella and The Last Embrace). This unique edition is also limited to 2000 copies.

Zyklon: The End
Norwegian Extreme Metallers Zyklon have decided to "call it a day". According to an official statement by guitarist and founder Samoth, "after taking an official break over two years ago, it has now become the reality that Zyklon is no longer a functional band, and thus the decision is made to formally split up the band, instead of just letting it descend into nothingness. As a final release from the band, Candlelight Records will later this year put out a box-set entitled The Storm Manifesto, including all three full-length albums with various bonus material."
